noa & ash’s breakfast

 usually i feed them raw food meal!

now ash eats 100% raw food !!

noa needs to add wet food .

and..

still noa cannot finish her dish ,

noa: it’s too meaty for me !

 

noa & ash’s dinner

i try to make homemade cat food for their dinner. (not every dinner.. )

noa: make me something that i wanna eat !!

today is wild salmon and

vegs!!

but. yeah, here.. noa leaves…

noa: you know.. at least i tried.. right?! so… give me dry food now! .. no ?!

usually ash likes wild salmon, but i guess she doesn’t like that way i mixed with vegs.. 

as the vet told me when cats don’t eat a homemade food,

try to add a little bit of clam Joice, so i did, …. doesn’t help…

okay.. here goes plan B  ..  i put a few dried bonito flakes over their dishes

it makes ash eats a little bit more.

noa is .. waiting for me to give up and give her dry food..

 hmm..

maybe i made a mistake by mixing too much of vegs on this time..

i haven’t got a supplement yet, i though eating vegs is the natural way.. so..

but i’ll consider buying it soon.

do you know anything for them to eat my homemade food easier?!

anyway.. it’s enough about cat food !

do you eat yoghurt every morning?

have you tried the LIBERTE yogourt ?  (yes, its for you!)

i’ve eaten so many  yoghurts.., so far i love this one the best !

you may found it too sour at your first bite, but

it’ll get sweeter and creamer..  so delicious !!

homemade cat food VEG and banana for noa?

i try to feed them vegs and see which one they like.

 this one is

microwaved pumpkin, broccoli and small sardines

noa could not eat it …as i thought   ash loved the pumpkin!

this was egg, small sardines, and broccoli

they didn’t like the smell of egg, so i put the raw meat

still eggy..

so i ended up feeding dry foods..

noa is very conservative about foods, she hates to eat non-cat dry or wet food.

except banana!!

she just LOVE banana! when we eat it she doesn’t stop meowing until we give it to her.

a funny thing is ash hates it, she could not eat it at all.

wonder why…

homemade cat food and raw food diet!

meow it’s getting cool in here!

we got a call from the vet last week, and all results were negative..!

that means, ash had allergies, probably food allergies, because soon after we’ve fed

the low-allergy foods to her, she’s slowly stopped to scratch her face.

after research of raw and homemade cat food diet, (i still need more to learn about it,

and if you have any good recipes of homemade cat food,

or good fresh quality meat markets in Manhattan, please let me know !! meow!!)

these are a few of foods that i’ve served to noa & ash.

this is boiled chicken and broccoli

noa & ash: gimme gimme!!

noa: ew!

ash: something new.. hmm.. i still can eat!

maman: try it, noa! you must love this chicken, i cooked for you!!

noa: mm… if you said so.. maybe i can have a few bite..

ash: yum yum (she’s my kitten!)

i’m still afraid to give them raw meats, there is no fresh meat store around our neighbor,

and i’m not sure if it’s okay to serve a packed meat from markets.

we found this “Nature’s Variety Raw Frozen Diets” 

noa & ash had never ate raw meats before, they need to transition slowly..

i’ve mixed small amounts of it into their fav wet foods.

noa & ash: WET FOOD yes! yes! YES!!

noa: what’s this smell?! AWFUL!!

maman: can’t you eat this ? this is your no.1 wet food! right ??

noa: nah, this is not my wet food, i don’t belive you, give me other one !!

ash: hm… i still can eat this, too.

so… as you see.. ash is more open to new food diet than noa.

it’s good, because ash is the one who had food allergies,

for noa, i’ll give her verRRRy slowly transition then..

she’s so stubborn

it’s a long way to get lid of dry food addicts!

annual vaccination

we took noa & ash to annual vaccination last weekend.

they did Feline Distemper respiratory 4 in 1. it’s only $49 each.

i described the vet about ash’s symptom then he believed that

ash’s itchiness was from food allergies.

i also told him about they are in the middle of transtion to new homemade food

and raw food diet, and asked if there is anything for them to make transition easier.

then he recommended us to add Rec Doxsee Clam Juice.

i’ll get is soon, and let you know what happens!

homemade cat food

sorry i’ve been offline for a while..

ash is getting really well

her fur grew back again   there is no more “mystery circle” spots !!

yet we are still worry about some these spots..

we hadn’t seen lines and these dark red things for a week, but they appeared again. hmm..

hope there are not signs of the itchiness..

ash: i’m sleepy.. today’s tuna tasted fabulous

yes! they start liking our HOME MADE CAT FOOD!!

tonight’s dinner was SASHIMI oh~ japanese!

it was their fast time.. exciting!!

noa: what’s this? …raw fish!?

noa: EWW!!

noa hated it..

ash loved it so much, she ate noa’s dish, too

 

since the doctor’s prescription foods  are gone,

we’ve cooked some homemade cat food.

((it’s not easy..  noa’s been difficult..))

i’ve taken a lots of pics of it, so more to come
