a cat’s life in japan (part 02)

my sister and her daughter, who lives in Japan, have saved a cat who

being hit by a car on the street on Nov 2nd. The cat was seriously injured,

they carefully took the cat to a vet. however the vet told them that he wasn’t

sure if the cat could survive, but they decided to take care of the cat. They didn’t

know how to give a treatment, because the cat was afraid of humans.

The cat could not eat nor drink. they wanted to keep the cat’s wounds

clean with a cotton, but the cat seemed in a lot of pain when they touched the areas.

day after day, the cat was losing his weight…

they’ve taken the cat to the vets many times…

but NOW, with their tender loving care, the cat is getting well!!

getting stronger everyday!  they finally gave the cat a name!

meet 寅吉 torakichi

(means “lucky tiger” =^_^=  tora is tiger kichi is luck in japanese.)

his left eye is blind, and his jaw is broken..   but he has an adorable face!

he is still nervous around people.. he only eats from my sister’s hands!!

 aww.. i wish i can hold him..

he needs to visit the vet more.

then once he becomes a healthy cat, he needs to learn how to use a

litter box just like a every domestic cat does!

also he needs to be a friend with their dog,

(oh, they also saved the dog, whose owner abandoned the dog..!!)

i feel so happy and very proud of them that they didn’t just leave him out there!
