these fabulous gifts from my dear kittenish friend, sumiko-san

who lives in japan, arrived this morning!!!

maman: whoa!! don’t step on it, ash!!! the book is my bible!!

ash: huh? ..who are they?!

maman: they are gin-chan and rum-chan!!

ash: wow… he’s cute!

maman: right!! ^_^ rum-chan is… anyway.. we should read it together!!

well.. enough about the blog.. i have more kittenish gifts from sumiko-san ^_^!!

her town is famous for festivals, especially a BIG summer festival.

there are lots of historical shrines, have a traditonal japanese culture.

so she picked these fabulous traditional gifts from her neighbor!!

maman:  this is a sensu, a folding fan ^_^!!

maman: no no!!

ash: what’s this?

maman: what do you think noa?

maman: it’s a coin case made from washi, japanese paper!! 

this is a business card case made of silk..!!

i think these fabrics for kimono’s. beeeeeautiful… >_<!!

i still have more gifts from her..

but they already made me HOMESICK!! so..
