ash did Fungal Culture exam, the result will come in 10 days.
this time we went to another animal hospital,
the humane society of new york, because that is where
we spayed noa & ash last year,  so they know our cats a little better
then the other one that we went to last thursday.

the reason why i went to the previous vet on thursday
was an emergency (i though..) and it is nearest one from our home,
but generally we don’t like their service that much and
they are mad expensive…*_*…
(we didn’t know any other vets when noa and ash were tiny kittens,
so during the time, we visited there for vaccinations for several times
but hey, each visit costed us around $500..!
and they made an estimate for their spay surgeries for $1500…!!

then.. we found the humane, their serves are better then the nearest one,,
and.. they provide us low-cost veterinary care! oh my kitten’s god!! )

anyway,,,
the Dr. from humane said she couldn’t tell the cause until
the result of fungal exam comes out,  but she gave us a prescription of
low allergen cat dry and wet food which only can be purchase with it.

ash: these are all mine!?

noa: what about meeeee?!

maman: you can also eat them, noa ^_^!

ash: i though i was special..

plus we got a supplement for healthy skin and hair coat.

 after all… we still don’t know what’s causing her itchiness,
nor how long she needs to wear the cone,
but she is a healthy cat, and we feel a lot better after seeing two vets.
i though she had a serious disease… (. _ .)

from now on we’ll take off the cone from her more often.

we will let her play, run and groom herself.

the way she’ll be more relax and feel less stress.

we think that is better for her, even she might lose more fur…

we HOPE ash’s itching go away soon!

today she hadn’t wear it until midnight!!

i think the raw food diet might be the way to go for ash and noa, too.
i’ll definitely search more about it!!!

the scratching and the itching got worse and worse..

she always wears the e-collar except mealtime, bathroom time, and playtime.

we keep close eye on her when she does not wear it.

she sure happy to be free and starts to play, then groom her.

we know she loves to groom herself,  and cats can relax when they groom themselves.

so we let her do it, and we stop her when she starts groom around her eyes,,,

but.. she just can’t help to scratch…

 only a few scratches made her eyes red..

we will visit a vet tomorrow…

maman: maybe ash gets used to wearing the elizabeth collar..

ash: elizabeth, huh?

 ash: do you think this cone look like that!?

maman: of course not.. yours is for protection.

ash: but i WANT to have it!!!!! make me more fancy one!!!! GARRRRRR!!!

maman: … ( ( ‘_’ )) … oh—kay.. i’ve got to play with noa then..

ash: fine,, maybe i should ask tim gunn about it..

maman: noah~!!!

noa: ash is right, the cone doesn’t have the “WOW” factor!

noa:  i hate cones, but they’re very now..

noa: well, MAKE IT WORK!

maman:  yeah.. i love the show..  ^_^;
